During the Marvels Movie 2023 event, we will see many of our favorite heroes. This will include Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Panther, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Wolverine, Deadpool, and more. And with so many heroes and villains to choose from, we will have many great actions to look forward to.
Thor: Love and Thunder
Featuring Chris Hemsworth as the Asgardian space god, Thor: Love and Thunder are set to arrive in theaters on July 8. It’s also the 29th installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thor’s personal story is the driving force of the film. It will also feature new characters.
The film introduces Jane Foster, Thor’s mortal soulmate in “Thor: The Dark World” (2013). The two begin a romance. But it ends when Jane is diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. After recovering, Thor must now return to her side.
While Jane’s death was handled beautifully, the film’s tone was inconsistent. While it made the audience laugh, it also received mixed reviews. Its visuals and lighthearted nature were also criticized. However, it did earn “B+” CinemaScore ratings from audiences.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
Earlier this year, Sony announced the sequel to Into the Spider-Verse. It’s called Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, and it’s set for release in June of 2023.
The sequel is being written by Dave Callaham, whose work includes writing for the Marvel multiverse. The sequel will look different for each universe, but it’s still the same story.
It’s a sequel to Into the Spider-Verse and will feature many characters from the previous film. Miles Morales will be back in the sequel and joined by a new team of Spider-People.
Miles’s mother, Rio Morales, will be back, and Miles’s father, Jefferson Davis. Brian Tyree Henry is returning as well.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
Unlike the first Black Panther movie, which focused on King T’Challa, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is a superhero film about a woman named Shuri. Her husband died in the first Black Panther movie, and she feels she has to take up the mantle and protect Wakanda. But she needs clarification on what this means.
Shuri learns that Queen Ramonda, the widow of King T’Challa, wants her to continue research on the Heart-Shaped Herb, a plant that provides enhanced strength and links the protector to the Ancestral Plane and Panther Goddess Bast. She is also given a bracelet crafted from branches of the plant.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ is an adaptation of the Marvel comic character of the same name. This superhero film is directed by Sam Raimi, known for his stylish horror films. It is the sequel to “Doctor Strange” (2016), which was released in the U.S. and grossed $955 million worldwide.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness continues the story of Doctor Strange, who learns about the multiverse. He battles various threats. Doctor Strange also encounters a mysterious teenage girl from his dreams. He also travels through the different versions of the multiverse. His enemies include members of a secret society called the Illuminati. He also battles other-universe versions of himself. He also learns about his powers and tries to return to his life of fortune.
Secret Invasion
Known as a comic book crossover event, Secret Invasion is set to be adapted for the big screen. The story revolves around the alien Skrulls who attempt to invade Earth. To stop the Invasion, the Avengers team needs to work together.
Secret Invasion takes place after the Civil War storyline. In addition to introducing the Skrulls to the MCU, it also raises the villainy of the Illuminati.
The comic book apex of this event is the Skrulls attempting to conquer Earth, and the heroes and villains of the universe need to band together to defeat the threat. However, the Marvels movie 2023 trailer offers little in the way of information.
Deadpool & Wolverine
Although Hugh Jackman has officially signed off as Wolverine, Deadpool & Wolverine in the Marvel movie 2023 has yet to be a given. After all, how can a film about an adamantium-infused mutant and a disfigured man have a plot? There have been rumors of Deadpool meets up with Wolverine, who is still alive, but no one knows.
Although Deadpool has been featured in many Marvel movies, he has yet to have his franchise. His inclusion in the MCU was delayed until Disney bought Fox, paving the way for the first Deadpool film.
