The actor Pankaj Tripathi will play the former prime minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the upcoming film, Main Atal Hoon. It is a biographical movie based on the life of the former Prime Minister of India.

Biography of Atal Bihari Vajpayee
Atal Bihari Vajpayee was an Indian politician who was known for his commitment to nationalism, democracy and social justice. Having served in the Indian parliament for a long time, he played an important role in the country’s post-independence domestic and international policies. Moreover, he was a prominent poet and writer. During his tenure as a politician, he also became a member of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh.
Born in 1924 in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, Atal Bihari Vajpayee is a member of the Hindu Brahmin community. His family has a history of migration from Bateshwar, Uttar Pradesh to Morena, Madhya Pradesh.
He completed his bachelor’s degree from Victoria College in Gwalior and graduated with a first class. Later, he also earned a Master’s degree in political science from DAV College in Kanpur. Besides politics, he authored poetry and had a keen interest in international affairs.
During the Quit India Movement, he was arrested for 24 days. After this, he was assigned to the northern region of Delhi. Then, he resigned after a lack of support to form a government.
